OOTD and review: Lindy Bop ‘Ophelia’ dress Floral Beige.

The weather in Maastricht keeps being beautiful and sunny, so it is an excellent day to wear my Lindy Bop Ophelia dress! I decided to do a review on this dress since there is quite the excitement going on about this beauty. I hesitated long before buying this dress. Not because of the pricing, for 60 euros you cant go wrong with a dress like this, but because I was hesitant about the length and the neckline.

I can tell you that all my hesitations were cleared as soon as I opened the box in which this dress came in. The fabric is thick and has a bit of a stretch to it and the print is beautiful. For me being quite tall, (1.80m) the skirt reaches just a bit above my knee. It is a bit shorter than I like my dresses, but hey, you can’t have it all! When you are a bit shorter, the dress will have an even better length! The dress looks beautiful with and without a petticoat. Because of the thick fabric, it will naturally fall a bit wider without a petticoat.

Now on to the bustline. I was hesitant about buying the Ophelia because of the particular way this dress is cut, but it turns out that it covers beautifully without being too revealing. For me it is this part of the dress that makes it so beautiful. This dress is actually made really inventive. Because of the pleads, you can cover up according to breast size, making it a great dress for all shapes and sizes! Yay for Lindy Bop

The print can be combined with so many colors, it is great with red, black, white, green, blue and brown. I love when dresses can be worn in summer- and wintertime, adding a pair of thick tights and a cardigan to make it warm enough to wear it all year round, and with this dress is it definitely possible.

So for all you girls hesitating to buy this gem, this is my raving review on the Lindy Bop Ophelia dress. The dress is available and sold worldwide in many prints and colors on www.lindybop.co.uk

So, what do you think about the Ophelia dress, let me know!

Lots of love,

xoxo Miss Ginger Tulips
